Moves the books away from him. He got back before Lavi did, though not by much; he's spent most of it sitting by what books are in the room or that have been moved from their places on the first floor, staring into space.
He'll stare wordlessly for a moment longer after that before getting to his feet. Book dissociating circle encroached upon; now what.]
... Most vampirism is said to spread in the blood. Are you planning on spreading blood around the dorm?
[His voice and stare are both so flat it's hard to tell whether he's serious.]

[Dehya is exhausted when she finally makes it to the dorm room. Not even from exertion, it's just been so much.]
Gods, if I wake up to this just being a dream--[She stops and stares at where Lavi is closer to the ground than upright.
Are you still bleeding, bitch?]

[Dehya stares down at him. The door is shut a little too hard as she marches forward.]
It kind of looks like you didn't go to the infirmary. Well? You done bleeding all over the place yet?

[Books are only comforting if you can read them without bloodstains on them, no thanks to a certain someone.
He has his priorities, so there's no reaction from Elan about the vampires or their new Lavi rug until he's walked away to his box bed and come back again with no particular urgency. In his hands: some rolls of bandages, disinfecting alcohol, gauze pads, what have you. It's the bare minimum of first aid supplies but he did raid the infirmary properly.
They're set unceremoniously on the floor.]
I wouldn't know. I've never met one until now.
And if she's not typical, then you still shouldn't be unsanitary about it.

[There's probably a couple of places that Louis needs to go before heading to the dorms at some point, but once he's arrived, there's definitely a moment there where he's clearly doing a bit of a double-take upon seeing who's present. The smell... isn't something he'd prefer to stick around if at all possible, so he keeps a fairly wide berth from Lavi as he leans against the wall next to the door, arms crossed.]
You haven't gotten yourself treated?
[dude, why,]
You haven't gotten yourself treated?
[dude, why,]
[Lavi is lucky Elan grabbed supplies so he is, at least, spared the argument of Dehya forcibly carrying him there.
Doesn't make her happier. Really, everything since the start of that meeting has been a slow-boiling kettle, and then one of them was put through all of that, such immense pain it radiated to everyone else, for wanting to refuse a half-baked contract to some so-called God.]
You know, I'm no Amurta biologist or whatever, but I've seen some nasty injuries out in the desert. When you're all the way out in the dunes there's no doctor you can walk to.
[She's still watching Lavi as she walks by where her normal clothes are folded on what must be her bed--black and red fabric and glittering gold of a gauntlet.] So I learned how important it is to disinfect and cover an open wound. You may not bleed out, but the worst of it isn't losing the blood. It's when dirt, dust, sand, whatever gets into it. And the longer you wait, the worse the infection will be.
[She picks up her make-up compact and checks it over. Then she turns and points at the supplies.] That's when it gets fatal. So, do you need me to do that for you?

[Elan glances over when he starts moving; that's good enough, the guy has working hands and the problem is getting taken care of, whether by him or Dehya the fire marshal for unnecessary emergencies. He isn't really interested in pursuing it any more than that.
It's already really strange having roommates like this, but it's probably only going to get wilder (derogatory).]
Not a vampire, but behaved like one. [well, vampirism isn't usually known as an actual disease, either] She drank... someone else's blood too. Earlier.
[He doesn't really remember that well in all that chaos.]

[Louis isn't really in the business of lecturing people for not taking care of themselves, but considering all the unknowns they're dealing with, it's a pretty reckless move for someone to be leaving a wound untreated.]
Still, we don't know what else might happen here. Best to get yourself patched up in case you wind up in another dangerous situation.
[Not that he thinks people will be eager to take off their rings after that demonstration, but there's supposed to be a murder every week, so there's plenty to be concerned about regardless.]

[Dehya watches for a moment before sitting down on her bed with an exhale.]
Take care of yourself when you're injured and I won't. [She flips her clothes until she finds her Vision--inert, but there. Her fingers curl around the frame.]
Regardless what game we're supposed to be playing, that doesn't mean we have to jump to every man for himself.

[sir, this seems like an attempt to steer this conversation away from the topic of first aid??? But it's fine, he'll go along with it for now.]
I can't really fault them when we were looking for answers. Even if we were promised the details another time, I doubt most of us would've been satisfied to just it go.
[After shifting a little to get into a slightly more comfortable position, he looks quite pointedly at where the bite wound is before making eye contact with Lavi.]
At least we have an idea of what to expect, now. It'd be a waste to not make use of the information by preparing ourselves as best we can.

Dehya. [Not that she objects to the respect, but he probably could do with her name.]
So, what's your opinion?
So, what's your opinion?
[Hello new roomie who is obviously reluctant to come in. Dehya waves her fingers from her seat on the bed.]
[Louis seems content to wallflower once it becomes plenty clear that Dehya has Lavi covered (with Elan's supplies contribution, of course), but there is a nod in her direction at the greeting. When the worst of it is patched up, that's when he deems it okay to move closer.]
Thanks for handling that.
Thanks for handling that.
Let's not give up too quickly, then. [She sets her Vision down and stands up to review the room more thoroughly.
...] Two of you are going to have to share a bed.
[She's used to lodging with a lot of men. She is not sleeping in a closed bed with them.]
